HCR was founded in 2007 by senior practitioners who spent their careers inside Malaysian banks, aviation leaders, and Big 4 consulting firms. After decades inside major institutions, they saw the exact same gap everywhere: Malaysian businesses needed senior HR strategy they could trust, delivered by advisors who truly understood the local landscape. What began as a high-touch recruitment practice quickly evolved into a full-service boutique consulting and talent firm.

In 2010, we established HCR Consulting Sdn Bhd to formalise our advisory practice—giving clients seamless access to end-to-end organizational solutions under a single, trusted banner.

Today, operating through two dedicated entities, we serve GLCs, corporates, and fast-growing SMEs across Malaysia. We remain deliberately boutique by design—ensuring the same senior practitioner who scopes your engagement is the person directly accountable for delivering your outcome.
